We are almost always able to know what we’re thinking and how we’re feeling, and I was thinking about how adept we are at discerning our own body and soul because we tend to focus our attention there. We seem to know when we’re sick or getting sick. And the Lord said, just as you have an awareness of your body and soul, you can also develop that same kind of awareness in the realm of the Spirit. Just as you can discern your thoughts and emotions, you can also shift your focus to spiritual discernment. It is a matter of faith and will. I am calling you to come up to a higher realm of existence and experience in the Spirit, says the Lord.
Proverbs 2:1-5 My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Many of you are just trying to get through this time of transition as quickly as you can. You are like a race horse out of the gate and down the track as fast as you can go. Then, when something comes to impede your progress, you think it is a work of the enemy to hinder you. But, the things that you are encountering that slow you down are not necessarily the work of the enemy, but the work of My Spirit to keep you in the flow of My purposes and timing. Now is the time to rein in your flesh and let me direct your every step, says the Lord. Trust Me to get you through this time of change with a sense of dignity and purpose.
