Do not despise your days of small beginnings. Resist the temptation to entertain discouragement because you have not yet achieved your desired goals, for your evaluations are based on that which is temporary instead of what is eternal. You have set your heart on outward appearance and that which is passing away because of your insecurity. It is impossible for you to measure your spiritual progress by your own standards. Rest in the assurance that I am the standard, I have set the standard, and I will cause you to measure up as you simply abide in Me and yield to My work in you. Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
