Taller’s Meet the Author Series Presents
Motivos Magazine 

Taller Puertorriqueño presents Motivos, a bilingual magazine with an editorial team of high school youth. Teens will read from their published work and show why rewriting existing negative narratives about our community is important. See how teens are finding their voices. Shaping a bright future through creative expression, community engagement, and exposure to college and career opportunities is part of the media mentorship program created by Motivos’ founder, Jenée Chizick Agüero. Projecting youth voices and impacting life trajectories of subscribers in 1200 schools, 42 states, Puerto Rico, Colombia and Costa Rica, Motivos invites you to be a part of their movement.
 
The Meet the Author Series is a free program offered by the Julia de Burgos Gift Shop one Saturday a month. Enjoy an afternoon of engaging dialogue with writers of different literary disciplines followed by a book signing. Copies of the work will be available for purchase.
