Pedro Capo Scores First Top 10 on Latin Airplay Chart With Farruko Collab ‘Calma’

Plus, Ozuna & Juanes up their top 10 career count.

Pedro Capo clocks his first top 10 on the Latin Airplay chart as “Calma” with Farruko glides 12-7 on the March 23-dated chart list.

Their first collaboration advances with a 26 percent boost in audience impressions (to 10 million) in the week ending March 17, according to Nielsen Music. With “Calma” arriving at No. 7,  Before “Calma,” Capo’s highest charting song was earned in 2014 when “Para Ayudarte a Reir” landed at No. 24 (Sept. 27, 2014).

Farruko, meanwhile, logs his sixth top 10. He last claimed a top 10 when “Chillax,” featuring Ky-Mani Marley which hit No. 1 in November 2016.

Also, in the new Latin Airplay top 10, Ozuna secures his 14th top 10 with “Baila Baila Baila,” the first single from his upcoming third studio album Nibiru. The song rockets up the chart, climbing 16-9 with a 14 percent gain in audience (to 8.12 million). During the tracking week, he performed the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (March 15), which may have stirred interest for the tune on airwaves.

“Baila” is Ozuna’s second top 10 of the year. He earned his 14th No. 1 with “Imposible,” his collaboration with Luis Fonsi as the song crowned the tally for one week on Feb. 23.

Juanes Scors 27th Top 10 on Latin Pop Songs: Moving away from the Puerto Rican domination of the Latin Airplay chart, Juanes earns his 27th top 10 on the Latin Pop Songs airplay chart as his new single “La Plata,” featuring Lalo Ebratt, jumps 12-10 thanks to a 3 percent bump in detections.

Juanes was last in the top 10 on the list over a year ago, when “Es Tarde” peaked at No. 10 on Jan. 13, 2018. Ebratt meanwhile, scores first top 10 with first chart entry and first appearance on any Latin airplay chart.
