Choose your battles carefully and wisely. You already know that your battles are not against flesh and blood, but against wickedness in the spirit realm. Be diligent to keep that perspective. Watch for the temptation to engage in power struggles and defend your own position, for this is foolishness. I have called you to contend for the faith and not defend yourself. You will also be tempted to take on the offense of other people and enter into their battles with them when it is not your business to do so. So, I say to you, refrain. Also, remember: He who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself; do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Stay clean and be clear in your motives and purposes, and only be led by the Spirit.
