How is it that you expect to be blessed, yet you don’t bless others? In fact, you even curse others with the words of your mouth when it suits your desire. Have you not read that the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity and that is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell? (James 3:6). Beloved, I would have you set a watch over the words of your mouth and over the meditations of your heart, says the Lord. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
