El rey del reggae, Bob Marley, será la imagen de una nueva marca de marihuana que comercializará cannabis y productos derivados de esta planta a nivel internacional y que está previsto que salga al mercado a finales del año que viene bajo el nombre de “Marley Natural”.
“Marley Natural” será posible tras un acuerdo anunciado hoy entre la sociedad inversora especializada en marihuana Privateer Holdings, con sede en Seattle, en el estado norteamericano de Washington, y la familia del músico, que murió de cáncer a los 36 años en 1981.
“Mantenemos conversaciones con distribuidores en Israel y estamos tanteando opciones en Uruguay y los Países Bajos. También tenemos en cuenta a mercados emergentes como España, Italia, Jamaica y la República Checa a medida que cambien las regulaciones”, explicó a Efe el portavoz de Privateer Holdings Zack Hutson.
